How did these companies save on fuel consumption?

Raptor fleet is a vehicle and vessel monitoring system used by more than 500 companies in Croatia to manage their fleet and reduce costs.
The system uses the latest technologies that enable users to view a wide range of reports on vehicle movements and the driver’s driving style. Functions such as the driver’s eco profile, automatic driver training for economical driving and driving mode reports with average fuel consumption per driver, achieve concrete savings on the costs of the user’s vehicle fleet with a significant contribution to driving safety.

Raptor d.o.o. analyzed the results according to which its users increased employee safety (safe driving):
- up to 16% reduction in average movement speed
- up to 75% reduction in speeding – drivers comply with the speed limit, which also affects the reduction of average fuel consumption, with more economical driving, drivers have achieved the following savings:
- up to 9% reduction in fuel consumption per kilometer driven – more economical driving reduces the average fuel consumption, at the same time affecting the extension of the vehicle’s service life, i.e. service costs
- up to 25% reduction in total fuel costs – the percentage of savings also depends on the user’s activity
Using the GIS component of the system and with a large database of geo zones/points of interest (retail chains, gas stations, pharmacies…) in the Raptor fleet system, users can more easily monitor visits to locations of interest, thereby increasing the efficiency of field workers:
- 10-20% estimated increase in employee efficiency – in addition to reducing fuel and service costs, research has shown that the introduction of a vehicle fleet monitoring system directly affects the increase in employee productivity (especially commercial travelers, sales representatives, delivery people…)
